个人简介:

徐晓嵘博士为中国科学技术大学教授,博士生导师,英国物理学会(Institute of Physics)会士、国际光电工程学会(SPIE)资深会员。1992年本科毕业于中国科学技术大学精密机械与仪器系;1995年硕士毕业于美国纽约州立大学石溪分校;1999年博士毕业于美国麻省理工学院机械工程系;之后在斯坦福大学设计研究中心从事博士后研究; 2000年加盟美国硅谷一家医疗仪器初创公司任技术总监;2004年底被聘为俄亥俄州立大学生物医学工程系助理教授, 后晋升为副教授(终身教职); 2012年回中国科学技术大学服务; 2014年至2018年任精密机械与精密仪器系系主任;  2021年加盟中国科学技术大学苏州高等研究院。徐教授的研究方向包括生物医学光学与手术导航、微纳米药物包裹以及生物医学仿生仿体的三维打印,已承担了国内外研究项目二十多项,在高影响力SCI期刊上发表了一百多篇学术论文 。 他的研究被《Columbus CEO》杂志专题报道,被评为年度十大最优秀的俄亥俄人物及两大科研明星(唯一的获奖华人)获得了Wallace H. Coulter转化医学青年成就奖,俄亥俄州年度TechColumbus 发明家奖以及 “Lumbley Research Award”等学术奖项。

研究方向: 

  1. 多模态医疗影像及手术导航:带领团队研制了十余款便携式诊疗及手术导航系统,实现了两项技术的产业转化和临床应用,申请了20余项国内和国际专利。 首次提出原位投射式手术导航和远程手术技术,使得医生仅靠裸眼即可精准观测到病灶边界及手术路径,大大提升了手术效果,相关技术已在数百例临床实验中得到了验证。基于深度学习的皮肤镜自动诊疗技术在国际皮肤病诊断竞赛中取得佳绩,有助于缓解边远地区医疗资源缺乏的状况,提升人民健康水平。

  2. 微纳米药物包裹:采用流动聚焦、电雾化以及界面剪切等微流控技术构建了具有多层复杂结构和多组分的微纳胶囊,实现了氧、纳米颗粒、药物和细胞的高通量均一包裹,采用磁场、光学、超声及温度等外界主动激励实现了载药可激发微囊的定向富集和遥控释放,并且拓展了微液滴技术在多个领域的应用,相关研究成果在Nature, Biomaterials, Lab on a Chip,Advanced Science, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces 等专业期刊发表。

  3. 医疗仪器标准化:针对医学光学仪器缺乏可溯源标准的现状,开拓了可溯源标准仿生仿体的研究,首次提出数字仿体的概念并制备了能够模拟红细胞氧合和光谱特性的微球,承担了国家基金委重大科学仪器研制项目并成功研制了仿生生物光学仿体的三维打印系统。
